Christmas Open Day @ Millie College

Join us on the Friday 6th December (1pm-7pm) to kick start the festive period, with an afternoon winter walk around the 350 acre nature reserve. Explore the campus and meet our rescued animals, enjoy a very merry treat to warm you up in our pop up café, Faith's Kitchen, or take a stroll through the gardens, to learn more about our site development in the last two years.

• Discover the site after dark with a guided night walk at 5pm. Experience the nature reserve once the lights go down and the wildlife becomes active, it’s a full sensory experience and a unique way to experience the site.
• Craft activities are available throughout the day.
• Firepits and outdoor seating for you to relax by or toast marshmallows.
• A small selection of gift stalls will be on site, offering some inspiration and stocking fillers.

In September 2022, this unique site became home to Millie College, catering for students aged 16+ with a wide range of special educational needs. The curriculum has been aligned to the areas of enterprise we run on site, including animal care, horticulture, conservation, catering and retail. We are slowly opening up the site to the local community, and would love your support to build an audience that will enable our students, to gain life and work based skills. As we develop the site further, we will need local support and vital funds that ensure we can create opportunities for employment, sustainable enterprise activities and volunteering.

Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
The event runs from 1:00-7:00pm, due to limited parking on site, arrival is via pre-booked tickets where you will choose your entry slot.
