A one-day introduction to using a map & compass for walks in lowland terrain / countryside areas.
Perfect for walkers who want to learn a little more or just for interest. Also covered will be equipment and how to get help in remote areas.

We will go on a short circular journey, taking in the local area whilst discussing and trying out techniques for navigation / staying on track.
We will look at what to carry in our rucksacks, as well as some life-hacks and getting help in remote areas.

This is a dog friendly walk, but please ensure you let us know when booking if you plan to bring your dog/s, and as always; all dogs must be under control at all times.
Bring a bag with food / drink, and clothing suitable for the weather, plus a spare warm layer
