Britain's What's On Event Guide
Peak District 4 Edges Winter Walk 01/02/2025
Saturday 1st February 2025
We meet at the Curbar Gap Car Park (W3W bright.tiny.universal) between 09.00 and 09.15 After a quick safety briefing we begin our walk. The walk is approximately 17.5 km (11 miles) long, and follows footpaths, bridleways, and open moorland. There are some uneven and rocky sections, and the very nature of the event means there will be some high edges and exposed sections to cover. There are less exposed options available but please remember that this is a walk taking in four separate Peak District edges.
Parking is available at Curbar Gap Carpark, Clodhall Lane. Pay and display charged at £4 per day. Free for blue badge holders, National Trust and RSPB members. Limited free parking is also available in the lower lay-bys. Jolly’s Catering visits on Fridays and weekends – providing hot drinks, homemade cakes and dog biscuits. Check them out on their Facebook and Instagram pages for more details.
