Buxton Moorland Experience. 02/02/2025

?? Other – Our route can be extremely exposed to the weather, with limited opportunity for shelter. Your guide will be carrying additional safety and medical items as well as additional insulation and weather protection. However please pay attention to the kit list provided and bring enough clothing to be warm and dry should the weather turn a little ‘Northern!’

What you’ll need

?? Warm Clothing – Including a warm mid-layer and hat. Jeans are not suitable for this walk.

?? Waterproofs – Including waterproof hood.

?? Food – Sandwiches or similar for picnic lunch & snacks to eat throughout the walk.

?? Drink – Water or soft drink (min one litre for the day). A hot flask may be your best friend if the weather forecast looks chilly! A complimentary drink is included at Seasons Bar at the end of our walk.

?? Other – Please wear walking boots or trail running shoes. Fashion, road trainers, or minimal grip footwear is not suitable or safe for this walk. The route can be a very wet underfoot
