Come and Sing Christmas
The Rawstorne Singers have organised this special ‘Come and Sing’ evening on Wednesday December 11th at 7:30pm at St Leonard’s Church in Penwortham and invite you to join the choir for a special rehearsal of choral Christmas music. We'll be singing a lovely mixture of carols old and new and you'll be able to try singing in four part harmony with us rather than just singing the familiar melodies sung in unison in church services. You’ll benefit from expert tuition from our Musical Director Marc Murray and music hire and refreshments are all included, for just £5.
The rehearsal starts at 7:30pm in preparation for our super Christmas Concert which takes place at 7:30pm at St Leonard's on the following Wednesday, December 18th. It's free for the audience, but donations are very welcome. If you enjoy singing and would love to be part of a choir rather than just listening to one, please come and join us. Last year's novice choristers had a great time singing with us at rehearsal and enjoyed it even more during the concert when their families and friends came to hear them.
