Teas from the Garden: seasonal workshop
Join the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) Garden team for a delightful evening of tea tasting and blending featuring ingredients grown in the Medicinal Garden. Led by our expert gardeners create a blend to take home or give as a festive gift!
The evening will include an introduction to RCP Museum exhibition 'Healing words' that features beautifully handwritten family recipe books used to share knowledge about treatments and cures within communities in England, 1500-1800.
Discover the properties of herbs featured in the exhibition many of which are grown in the RCP’s own Medicinal Garden. Taste a sample of teas created from these ingredients perfect for different times of the day – from perking you up in the morning to a soothing blend at the end of the day. Finally guided by our expert gardeners taste a combination of different flavours and create your very own tea blend to take home with you – or deliver as a unique Christmas, Hannukah or seasonal gift.
