Have you ever wondered how their food tasted, the feel of wearing their clothes, what their language sounded like, and the look—and smell! of their buildings?
A visit from the Butser IX Legion will bring the Roman world alive for you. Find out what a Roman schoolchild had to learn, try on Roman armour, and if you are tough enough, undergo Roman army training: all orders in Latin – we will teach you!.
