Bucks Pottery & Sculpture Society talk
This month's meeting of the Bucks Pottery and Sculpture Society will include a making session with long-time member Max Cowlin who will guide us in constructing a freeform ceramic bowl.
Attendees will need to bring the following:-
1. Shallow bowl 8-10 diameter to use as a mould
2. Cloth for rolling out clay
3. Work board for cutting clay
4. Pottery knife
5. Rolling pin
6. Mark making stamps
Clay will be supplied by the Society
During the tea break we will be able to vote on the entries for the annual Peter Stocker Sculptural Award. All attendees are eligible to enter the competition - the theme for this year is 'Literary Animals' (see our website for more details).
The meeting will be held at Little Kingshill Village Hall (HP16 0DZ) on Friday 29th November from 8-10pm. Entry is free for BPSS members, £5 for visitors. For more information about the Society see our website www.buckspotters.com. We are also on Facebook and Instagram.
