Christmas Carols and Handel's Messiah
For the first time since the pandemic, All Saints Church Wokingham is hosting its own Christmas Concert on Sunday 8th December at 5.30pm in church. It will include part 1 of Handel’s Messiah plus Christmas Carols performed by our All Saints Alumni choir. The concert will feature singers who have sung in our church choir over the years, including Tim Reader who will conduct. Members of Tim’s choir Ephiphoni, will perform some music in the first half of the concert. The Messiah will feature a string quartet and Huw Jenkins, one of our previous Directors of Music, playing the organ. The tickets are a bargain at £15 which include Christmas refreshments, they can be obtained online or from our Cafe. All proceeds will go towards our Organ and Music Fund.
