Great Yorkshire Vegan Christmas Festival
Vegan Events UK is looking forward to next Saturday, 30th November, when it will be bringing its popular Great Yorkshire Vegan Christmas Festival back to Leeds, celebrating its 10th year. Come along for some early Christmas present ideas. Entry is free for under-16s, so it is ideal for families.
The Great Yorkshire Vegan Christmas Festival features 100 stalls, including a huge selection of cooked foods, pies, cakes, chocolates, sandwiches and salads, beauty and skincare products, candles, cheeses, jewellery, crafts, healthy treats, sweet treats, clothing, drinks, juices, smoothies and charity merchandise. There’ll be products you won’t find in the supermarket, recipes, nutritional advice and budget cooking ideas, free samples, talks, cookery demonstrations, global food caterers and much more…
Featured stalls include Miracle’s Mission, a non-profit animal welfare organisation that works with sick, injured and difficult animals.
Talks include Tips To Build A Strong Body And A Strong Mind by Sophie Banyard, a mindset coach and kettlebell instructor who is passionate about helping people to build inner and outer strength and resilience, Understanding Your Protein Needs as a Vegan: Separating Fact from Fiction with Chibuikem Osuchukwu from Gudee, and What’s in your knickers? Do you really know? with Alana Redick, founder of TryKind Clothing, to help you collate a conscious wardrobe.
There will be live music from freedom warrior Vegan Queen V and there will be live cookery demonstrations throughout the day from COOK! with the Vegetarian Society, offering a 20% discount on all of their full and half day classes if booked at the event.
Try some vegan delights offered by Yorkshire stallholders, including vegan savouries and Yorkshire puddings. Ella's Vegan Yorkshire Bakery is located in the town of Malton, nestled between the North Yorkshire moors and the Yorkshire Wolds. with a range of ready-made vegan mixes, including Vegan Yorkshire pudding.
