Messy Museum Day

Shiny! Make an oversized Iron Age gold coin (also called a stater) from air-drying clay and then paint it a shiny gold on top. Afterwards, visit the Treasure Through Time special exhibition to see more precious treasure items unearthed in West Berkshire.

Suitable for 7-11 year olds, but younger and older children are welcome. An adult must remain at all times. Please dress for mess, although aprons will be available. You are welcome to bring a reusable apron.
