About this Event

Warm Spaces: Art of Calm - Slow Stitching

Discover the calming art of slow stitching with Mandy Johnson - perfect for anyone looking to unwind and explore their creative side.

In this free weekly workshop, you’ll design and craft a unique fabric cover for a notebook or journal. Using mindful, meditative stitching techniques, you’ll learn to combine hand-stitching with embellishments such as embroidery, buttons, beads, and small appliqué details.

Whether you’re new to sewing or an experienced stitcher, this workshop is your chance to slow down, connect with your creativity, and leave with a beautiful handmade creation.

No booking necessary and all materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own special buttons, beads, or fabric scraps to incorporate into your design!

Part of our Warm Spaces season. We are very pleased to be part of Bexley Council’s initiative to provide free and welcoming warm spaces for local residents during the winter months.
