Absolute Beginners Ukulele Workshop
At You Ukes we believe that everyone can experience the joy of playing music. We know that the Ukulele is the perfect 'entry-level' instrument, it’s accessible, fun and perfect for anyone who wishes to explore their musical potential.
The Ukulele is the ideal community instrument, coming into its own when played 'en-masse', bringing enjoyment and smiles to everyone within earshot. We want everyone who wants to, to have the opportunity to enjoy and play this fun and engaging instrument.
This is a one-off workshop designed to help people who have little or no experience of playing the ukulele to try out the instrument and see if they wish to learn. If you all ready have a uke great, bring it along and we'll teach you all about it. If you don't have a uke, no problem, we will bring along a selection of ukuleles of different types and sizes to borrow.
In the workshop you will learn to play some basic chords and rhythms and try out a few songs.
