Be captivated by the tales of Tawny Owl Wood with author, Louise Shaw, reading her stories. Meet talking animals, brave heroes and hear about their fantastical adventures. 10.30am and 11.30am. This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.

Enjoy listening to author Louise. A. Shaw’s story telling of whimsical tales at Tawny Owl Wood™. magical realms where talking animals, brave heroes, and fantastical adventures come to life. Louise’s stories blend fantasy and reality to create a world of diversity and inclusivity, whilst learning about nature. The charming ‘Tawny Owl Wood’ range will be available for purchase directly from Louise throughout the day. Books will be available to purchase directly from Louise.
This event is aimed at children under 5 years of age.
After arriving at Visitor reception make your way up to the Woodland Den. We suggest arriving at property at 30 minutes before the session start to give yourself enough time.
This activity is in the Woodland Den which is undercover but has no heating. Do dress suitably for the weather to keep warm and dry. We suggest boots and hats in cold wet weather.
The grounds at Standen are on a hillside, expect uneven pathways and steps. Please be aware some areas may become slippery when wet. Check accessibility statement for full details
