Uxbridge Folk Club: Suntrap/Mishra double bill

Suntrap are a local band of singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists (including Twickfolk’s Sue Graves who we have seen at the club several times). With delicious vocal harmonies and an array of instrumental sounds they play traditional folk and self-penned songs with a lively stage presence.
Mishra are an award-winning duo who describe themselves as a global folk collective. With strong roots in UK folk, they weave a tight web of intricate, Indian-influenced original music into their joyous live performances. Expect to hear banjo, and dobro, low whistle, percussion, and guitar as well as tabla and santoor.
