About this Event
FREE taster session with the Aberdeen Rock Choir
Do you want to find a choir near you?
Your local Bridge of Don choir is run by singing teacher Rachael Watson. We are the local community choir with the national reputation - join the Bridge of Don Rock Choir and experience the singing phenomenon that Will Smith described as 'Fantastic'. Whilst retaining our community spirit, we come together en masse for national and regional events, giving our members unrivalled performance opportunities and experiences beyond compare, ranging from singing on BBC Breakfast Christmas Special in 2011 to our local Aberdeenshire music, food and fireworks festivals!
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at Wembley Arena (which we did! - for the ITV1 documentary 'The Choir that Rocks'), there's a place for you in the Bridge of Don Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the Bridge of Don choir members recommend their friends!
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir is fab! Three part harmony, choreography, fun and laughter! I leave on a total natural high each week!' - Leslie (Rock Choir member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
