James Alexander-Sinclair - The Principles of Planting
James Alexander-Sinclair FSGD is one of the foremost garden designers and a journalist. He has designed gardens from Cornwall to the Western Isles and from London to Moscow also written for BBC Homes & Antiques, Country Living, Daily Express, Homes & Gardens, House & Garden, Period Living, and Sunday Express, and his own house and garden were featured in Grand Designs magazine. James has been Chair of the Chelsea Flower Show selection panel and since 2006 has been a Royal Horticultural Society gardens judge. He is an RHS Vice-President and was awarded the Veitch Memorial Medal for outstanding contribution to horticulture in 2022. This should be an excellent talk - James is a compelling speaker and we look forward to having such a respected garden designer sharing various planting styles and where best to use them.
