Clipstone at War
Step back in time as we host an amazing display of WW1 and WW2 with reenactors, huge number of military vehicles, period music and entertainment all day and food and drink and dance. The atmosphere last year was amazing and all this take place underneath the tallest headstocks in the world at 62 metres. The site was the largest army training camp in Britain with over 30,000 troops stationed at anyone time. Clipstone Camp is now the home of Clipstone headstocks museum of mining and military.
