BITESIZE: How Visual Poetry Explores Communal Trauma with Dr Russell E

In this Bitesize talk, Dr Russell Evans will explore visual poetry, visual haikus, poetry comics and other text/image pieces, focusing on his interests in depicting community trauma and how it is comprehended by those subjected to it. Evans’ recent work in visual poetry explores systemic poverty and collective abuse, and the shared silences of such experiences in working class communities.
