About the event
Setting off from Retford at 7.30am to arrive before 9.00am at Frampton. Car parking and entry is free to RSPB members. A great reserve any time of the year but wintering birds are expected.
Bring sufficient food, drink, and clothing to suit the weather. Expect to be at Frampton for around 4-5 hours, but if you want to leave early you are fine to do that. Please let me know if you are going on this trip so I know who is expected to arrive at Frampton.
Gary himself was a founding member of local group, Lound Bird Club, is currently a volunteer for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust at the Idle Valley Nature Reserve and committee member of the NWT North Nottinghamshire Local Group and was the former BTO Wetland Bird Survey (WeBS) Co-ordinator for Nottinghamshire for a period of 10 years.
