Charity Lampshade Making Workshop in aid of Dyscover

Learn how to make a drum lampshade - no sewing or previous experience required - and raise funds for www.dyscover.org.uk a charity supporting adults with aphasia.

On this 3 hour workshop you will make a lampshade that is 30cm in diameter x 21cm tall that can be used either as a table lamp or a ceiling pendant.

You will need to provide your own fabric that measures 110cm x 30cm, full details will be given in your joining instructions, all other materials will be supplied.

This is a fun session, with refreshments, aimed at complete beginners.

Jo Jones has been making lampshades for over 10 years, previously running a small lampshade making business from home, selling bespoke shades to customers across the UK. Jo is now a volunteer with Dyscover and has offered her time to share her lampshade knowledge to help us raise valuable funds.
