Join us for the first film event of 2025 at the Liszt Institute, for a compelling evening of Hungarian cinema. The screening of Hungarian director and cinematographer Barbara Baska’s newest documentary, ‘Baska is speaking Hungarian’, will be followed by a live Q&A with the director.
This experience is a unique opportunity to get to know Barbara Baska’s newest documentary, the winner of the Hungarian Motion Picture Festival 2024. Exploring themes of transgenerational trauma and memory, the film has previously been screened in New York and Toronto, and it now debuts in London, at the Hungarian Cultural Centre.
