About this Event

Tarantarti Party Festival

Tarantarti party is a 4 day music & arts festival. Delivering a diverse range of entertainment in every creative form, across 4 lovely stages, Music, Cabaret, Acoustic & a Dance Tent. The festival is a celebration of 30 years of the band Tarantism.

This intimate grassroots field family party is making family the centre of the festival, so wherever the adults are having fun then there will be kids’ entertainment close by. The festival features great bands they met along their travels and shared stages with, such as China Shop Bull, Los Albertos & P.A.I.N, all performing on the 'Dance till you Die' stage, it is set to be a brilliant weekend.

We aim to bring you the amazement and wonder of an established large festival but in an intimate grassroots field family party. We also hope to bring something new to the festival scene, Disco Cabaret, a creative variety show of live music, drag acts, comedy, theatre, dance, acrobats, fire shows, and DJs, all set in an opulent yet scruffy glam marquee, run by members of the queer community providing a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ people and their allies.

To satisfy the ravers we have a dance music tent with top DJ's such as Chris Liberator and AON, & a cosy acoustic fireside stage which will have some lovely folk music and open mic slots. For those cosy nights around the fire we have a lovely semi-acoustic stage in which some beautiful folk bands have been scheduled, with plenty of open mic slots for guests and performers to get involved.

We have huge facilities for children and are making families the centre of the festival, so wherever the adults are having fun then there will be kids' entertainment close by also. To include: a dinosaur caravan, teddy tent, library tent, lego tent, toy tent, craft area, art space, circus workshops and teen space. For the guests who like to be creative and productive during the day we have a great range of workshops, and a dedicated quiet healing space.
