Autumn basket willow weaving workshop
Weave and unwind on this course for beginners and improvers. By the end of the day, you will have created a beautiful basket with built in handles, which has a variety of potential uses from holding fruit or bread to gardening and foraging.
No experience needed, but a degree of manual dexterity and finger strength is required to weave a small basket of your own.
Jane first learnt to weave with this wonderful, versatile natural resource as a volunteer host for the Suffolk Wildlife Trust eight years ago and has been hooked ever since, running courses and extending her own repertoire.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. The café will be open from 10am-4pm, serving savoury food and sweet treats.
