About this Event

EasterFest at Dalkeith Country Park

EasterFest at Dalkeith Country Park is here, bringing a basketful of egg-citing events for the whole family running across two action-packed weekends from Saturday 12th April to Monday 21st April.

WEEKEND ONE: SATURDAY 12TH & SUNDAY 13TH APRIL

Kickstart the Easter fun with two unmissable events:

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny – Saturday 12th April £15pp - must be pre-booked
Families are invited to enjoy a delightful pancake breakfast in The Kitchen at Restoration Yard, where the Easter Bunny will make a special appearance, spreading joy and handing out delicious chocolate treats.

Easter Bunny Fun Run – Sunday 13th April £6pp - pre-booking required
Get ready to hop, skip, and jump your way through the 1K Bunny Fun Run. Taking place outside Dalkeith Palace, the run welcomes babies in buggies, little legs (under 12s), and even four-legged friends. Prizes await the first bunnies across the finish line, with bunny ears and face painting for all participants.

WEEKEND TWO: FRIDAY 18TH – MONDAY 21ST APRIL from £6.50, pre-booking recommended

The Fort Douglas Easter Festival returns, offering an exciting mix of outdoor adventures and sweet surprises for the whole family. Thrill-seekers can take on the exhilarating Zorbing Cannon Ball Run, while little ones unleash their creativity with Easter Face Painting. Treasure hunters will love the Easter Scavenger Hunt, searching high and low for hidden delights. The Bunny Bothy provides the perfect opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny, while those with a sweet tooth can indulge at the Candy Floss Cabin. At the heart of the festival, Fort Douglas Adventure Playground promises endless fun, with climbing, exploring, and playing set against the stunning outdoor backdrop.
