About this Event

FREE taster session with the Milngavie & Bearsden Rock Choir

If you are pondering whether there is a 'pop or gospel choir near me' then you may be interested in the local Bearsden Rock Choir.

The Bearsden Rock Choir is led by singing teacher Jennifer Scouller. Rock Choir is unequalled in the opportunities we can offer our members - from performing at top music and arts venues like Wembley Arena and Eurodisney to raising money for some of the UKs best-loved charities such as Refuge, British Airways Flying Start and the Edinburgh and London Moonwalks. Appearing on national television and singing with celebrities like Deborah Stevens has been exciting and exhilarating, but Rock Choir members still know the importance of supporting our local community causes and events!

Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Jennifer tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with her about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 19 years experience giving members of the public who are new to singing in a choir the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'Why I love Rock Choir: I've had lupus for over 16 years. I get to forget that once a week and I feel like I've achieved something in life now, as I've had to give everything else up because of it.' - Sheryl (Rock Choir member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
