About this Event

FREE taster session with the Caterham Rock Choir

If you are pondering whether there is a 'pop or gospel choir near me' then you may be interested in the local Caterham Rock Choir.

Your friendly local Caterham choir is run by singer/pianist Valerie Turnbull. Rock Choir is unequalled in the opportunities we can offer our members - from performing at top music and arts venues like Wembley Arena and Guilfest to raising money for some of the UKs best-loved charities such as Missing People, Sport Relief and local charities like Ty Hafan in South Wales. Appearing on national television and singing with celebrities like Deborah Stevens has been exciting and exhilarating, but Rock Choir members still know the importance of supporting our local community causes and events!

Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at the O2 arena (which we've done!), there's a place for you in the Caterham Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see what all the fuss is about!

Here is a quote about our choir - 'I can only echo what people have said about Rock Choir. It's had such an impact on mine and other's lives. A fantastic outlet for singing feel-good songs, the ones we all enjoy to listen to - and the opportunity to be part of a group producing an amazing sound. I've made so many friends and had many fantastic experiences during my last 5 years with Rock Choir and look forward to many more!' - Emma (Rock Choir member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
