About this Event

Spring Open Day @ Millie College, Holton Lee

Join us for a Spring themed open day in the grounds of Millie College. Students will be on hand to perfect their skills in welcoming you to the site, selling plants and produce or providing a tasty treat from our on site café, Faith's Kitchen!

Spring time on the Holton Lee site can be very magical, as the landscape starts to change and the wildlife emerges. Our team will be on hand to provide animal encounters on the day, get those creative juices flowing with a themed creative craft or provide a well earned cream tea, following a delightful stroll along the boardwalk and visit to one of our bird hides.

There are some exciting developments within the grounds, with our current expansion works on the rescued animal care department and our evolving plant nursery and kitchen garden. There will be many delights from the garden also on sale, so keep a space free in your garden for that Made by Millie souvenir.

* Tickets must be purchased in advance as we manage numbers, therefore you will be turned
away at the gate if you do not hold a valid ticket.
* All tickets are non-refundable donations to Millie College, all funds go back into the work we do
in supporting rescue animals and building the offer for our students.
* Please arrive in your booked timeslot to ensure a more efficient visit.
* Please ensure you are wearing suitable footwear for walking on the site, we have varied uneven
terrain on the 350 acre site.
* The College will be operating as usual during this event, tplease do not enter any College buildings marked as staff only or learning zones.
