Walk For A Cure with Alzheimer's Research UK - Edinburgh

Join us in Edinburgh this summer on Sunday, 20th July 2025 for this accessible, family-friendly 5km walk. Walk side by side with friends and family, and fuel life-changing dementia research.

Every step brings us closer to a cure. Sign up today!

The 5km circular route will begin at the Parade Ground adjacent to the Palace of Holyrood House. From here, you head clockwise past St Margarets Loch and climb up past Dunspaie Loch. You'll continue a 360 degree circuit of the park, with views of Arthur's Seat, and panoramic views of the coastline, Edinburgh castle and the city itself before crossing the finish line to claim your well-deserved medal.

Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times.

The fully signposted route has both grass and gravel terrains and is accessible for both wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance. However, please be aware that this route does include a steep climb on tarmac surfaces and may not be suited to all.

There will be volunteer marshals along the route to support you if needed.
