About this Event

Join our choir in West Sheffield for a FREE taster session

If you are pondering whether there is a 'pop or gospel choir near me' then you may be interested in the local Sheffield Rock Choir.

Your local Sheffield choir is run by singer/pianist Ainjiel-Shaolee Clark. It's our privilege to take a minute to tell you about our mysterious choir flash mobs around the country for Comic Relief, our sell-out performances at venues like the O2 or our hit ITV documentary, but at Rock Choir we know it's not just about the unique huge events, it's about our choir members singing in the community. Join your local Sheffield Rock Choir to become part of this 'national phenomenon' (as described in the Sunday Times) and discover a whole new world of opportunities to sing in Sheffield and make friends!

We sing in Sheffield every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not visit our performances page at rockchoir.com to see when we're next performing locally in Sheffield or South Yorkshire. There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local Sheffield community together through something as simple as learning to sing.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'The most uplifting, inspirational and empowering choir in the country. Not only are they the biggest choir in the world, they truly do move you in a way I didn't think possible ' - Nick Patrick (7 x Classical Brit Award winning record producer with record sales of 40 million records)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
