Your local Sunderland choir is run by singing teacher Rob Slater. The Sunderland branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Sunderland community causes and events, all the local choirs come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the Royal Albert Hall, achieving album sales that enter the charts, local flashmobs and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper in front of an audience of thousands, there's a place for you in the Sunderland Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see what all the fuss is about!
