Malaysian pianist Bridget Yee is the winner of the Windsor International Piano Competition and the Beecham International Piano Competition, where she also earned the esteemed Best Overall Competitor Prize. In 2020, she won the Putra International Piano Competition with her performance of Ravel’s Concerto in G Major and was a finalist in the BBC Young Musician Keyboard Category, which was broadcast on BBC.
The 2024/25 season marks Bridget’s American solo debut at the Aspen Music Festival and School as a Polonsky Foundation Fellow, where she performed in the Klein Music Tent for the Piano-Palooza concert, featuring the world premiere of Greg Anderson's Stars & Stripes: Fireworks for 8 Pianos, 32 Hands. She also performed in the Kurtág Project at the 2024 Summer Piano Festival in Duke's Hall, the first complete performance of all ten volumes of Kurtág's Játékok. Her UK recital tour culminated in a sold-out recital at the HGS Autumn Series. Upcoming highlights include the world premiere and recording of Alexander Papp's duo concerto in Cologne for Coviello Contemporary, part of her three-year residency as an Art Mentor Lucerne performer with the Riot Ensemble.
