Looking to get the family together for a great day out in 2025? Great Yarmouth Racecourse’s Family Fun Day is the perfect day out for all combining horseracing, entertainment and fun! Children aged 17 and under attend all our racedays for FREE.
Family Entertainment
All our entertainment will be confirmed closer to the date of our event. In previous years we’ve seen huge animatronic dinosaurs roam the racecourse, through to fantastic fun fairs on the lawn and children’s entertainers. As with all our Family Fun Days, majority, if not all, our entertainment is free so the little ones can enjoy all the fun without the adults worrying about breaking the bank!
Things to Do With the Family
We know it can be hard to plan a family day out on a budget during the school holidays. That’s where our Family Fun Days come at a perfect time. With free entry for children aged 17 and under, free entertainment and a promise to keep costs low on-site, your day out doesn’t need to break the bank. Join us this August for a great day out.

Remember, kids go free so there’s no need to pay for their entry. A ticket will be issued on the day.

There are a variety of tickets available ranging in price from £19 - £60.Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
Concessions discounts are only available on the day.
