Daniil Margulis Born in Ankara-Turkey in 2000 Turkish Double Bassist Daniil Margulis is the Grand Prize winner of the 8th International Caspian Artist competition as well as a Finalist in the 2017 Silk Street Sinfonia Young Soloist Competition in London. He made his public debut aged 7 when he gave a solo performance on Turkish NTV. After finishing his studies at the Bilkent University Music and Ballet school he went on to study at the Yehudi Menuhin School on a full scholarship with Professor Caroline Emery. He has many solo performances to his credit as well as a substantial orchestral repertoire.
