Learn to Play the Ukulele at Bay 57
This is an inclusive community ukulele and songwriting course for kids from Portobello Players that welcomes total beginners.
You will be taught by our professional musicians and tutor in this 100% practical course that covers everything from song writing, live performance skills, basic chords, through to playing chords and practising strumming.
Course content will cover basic ukulele chords, strumming patterns, performance techniques and you’ll even learn how to write a song from scratch! By the end of the course you’ll know how to play the ukulele chords and be able to play and sing with confidence.
This event is part of the Bay 57 Showcase.

Bay 57 is a unique event space nestled beneath the Westway flyover in North Kensington, just moments from the world-famous Portobello Road Market.
This Easter, over the two weeks of school holidays, the venue will come alive with an exciting programme of community-led events.
