Embark on a captivating adventure as we walk out over the sands of the Dee Estuary at low tide to visit the picturesque Hilbre Island. This journey offers a rare opportunity to explore the island’s natural beauty and tranquil surroundings. As the tide recedes, you’ll traverse the sandy bay, guided by the rhythmic ebb and flow of the sea, uncovering the hidden gems of this enchanting destination.

After exploring Hilbre Island, we’ll make our way back to the shore and continue our journey along the stunning Wirral coast. Starting in West Kirby, we’ll follow the Wirral Way, passing the serene Marine Lake and the charming Dawpool nature reserve. Our path will lead us through Wirral Country Park, with its diverse landscapes and breathtaking views, until we reach the summit of Thursaston Hill.

This scenic walk promises to treat you to a variety of coastal paths and landscapes, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. Whether you’re an avid nature lover or simply seeking a peaceful escape, this adventure will be a memorable and enriching experience, connecting you with the serene beauty of the Wirral Peninsula.
