Blencathra’s other ridge- Hall’s Fell Ridge. 4th April

From the church in the old mining village of Threlkeld there is a short warm up across the fields before the steep climb up to Hall’s Fell Ridge, a spectacular route that finishes right on the highest point of Blencathra. Breathtaking views all the way up and an easy descent by one of two routes lead back to the village.

If you are and experienced walker with a good head for heights we can make this a more challenging day by making our ascent via the iconic Sharp Edge and descending via Hall’s Fell. Due to the nature of Sharp Edge this option is not available in wet or winter conditions.
