The Ipswich Rock Choir is led by Suffolk based musician and teacher Lee Birnie. People who have already joined the choir, who hail from Ipswich and further afield in Suffolk come from all walks of life and most had no singing experience or ever thought their singing journey would ever take them on TV or radio (not compulsory :-) ). Once you join the choir you will find you learn the songs by rote from a brilliant set of resources and you will be amazed how quickly you go from 'not sure' to 'performance ready'. The songs are uniquely arranged to make songs easy to sing yet still challenge you in places.
Just like a Zumba session or art class, your membership of the choir provides an escape from everyday life. One evening a week, your time is completely your own, to do nothing but sing your heart out with friends whilst enjoying our trailblazing formula of fun, friendship and feel-good music.
