Brampton East Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
A selection of gardens of differing sizes and styles. 25 Edmondson Close, created from scratch 12 yrs ago, features a productive organic vegetable area, espaliered apples, soft fruit, area set aside for wildlife inc small pond, greenhouse, ornamental pond and herbaceous borders. Ridge House is well established, with mature trees around a house built in 1833; in a traditional setting with relaxed naturalistic planting with self-seeders positively encouraged. Lover's Lane is a Community Garden currently with around 40 members. Their aim is to be inclusive and organic, and experiment with new ways of gardening in trial beds. 6 Sands Cottages is a communal back lane behind terraced cottages which has been transformed into a lovely space.

Check website for latest information. Sun 6 July (1-5). Combined adm £5, Children free. Home-made teas at Ridge House. Visitors can picnic at the Community Garden, weather permitting. The Sands grassed area can also be used for picnics which also has a roofed shelter. Times:13:00 to 17:00.
