Hayton Village Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
A picturesque valley of quality gardens of very varied size and styles, mostly around old stone cottages. Smaller and larger cottage gardens, courtyards and containers, woodland walks, exuberant borders, frogs, pools, colour and texture throughout. Spring bluebells, azaleas and wisteria. Home-made teas and sometimes live music at the school where the children create gardens annually within the main school garden (RHS award). Gardens additional to those listed also generally open or visible. The annual Scarecrow display/competition may also coincide which children will enjoy (pls check the website nearer to the date).

Check website for latest information. Sun 18 May (12-5). Combined adm £5, Children free. Home-made teas in Hayton Village Primary School Also cold refreshments in one of the gardens outside if suitable. Village green available for picnics. Cash only. Times:12:00 to 17:00.
