Duxford Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Eight gardens of different sizes and character. 2 Green St is packed with plants and flowers, 5 Green St is an enclosed garden which was planted to be easily managed and require little maintenance without compromising on colour and interest. 31 St Peters St, on a steep slope, is filled with surprises, and a dry rockery. Bustlers Cottage has a cottage garden inc vegetables, many trees and places to sit. Stop here for a home-made cream tea and buy some plants. The gardener at 16 Ickleton Rd is a plantaholic, unable to refuse room to an unusual plant, and has a fascinating garden as a result. This may be the last opportunity to visit this garden- not to be missed.
