Harwich Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
All different gardens are within walking distance in the historical town of Harwich with their own special identity. 8 St Helens Green, just 100 metres from the sea, is a small town garden with roses, dahlias, hydrangeas and agapanthus mixed with perennials and many pots. 38 Harbour Crescent is a new garden with an eastern theme. A long narrow garden that gives the impression of a much larger secluded garden. Filled with trees, shrubs, water features and many seating areas. Quayside Court, a community garden, unusually boasts a sunken garden hidden from view at the end of the car park which features a wall mural, pond, vegetable patch, roses and climbers. New additions inc a pergola and greenhouse. 42 Kings Quay Street courtyard garden is behind a Grade II listed house.
