Hidden Gardens of Croft Road - Open Garden for NGS
Three very different and interesting gardens, well named as 'Hidden Gardens' as they are not visible from the road. Nags Head Farm has a wonderful rill running alongside a sloping garden with a variety of plants leading to a quiet, peaceful courtyard. There is a large vegetable garden in which stands a magnificent glasshouse with vines. A woodland walk leads to a polytunnel, view point and wildflower meadow. Oxney Flatts has well-stocked herbaceous borders and a wildlife pond. New Cottage garden has established flower beds inc herbaceous plants, shrubs and roses. There is also a productive fruit and vegetable garden. A newly created wildlife pond area inc a rockery and seating.
