Wheatley House - Open Garden for NGS
Situated on a rural hilltop with panoramic views over Alice Holt Forest and the South Downs. The owner, being much more of an artist than a plantswoman has had great fun since 1981 creating this 1½ acre garden full of interesting and unusual planting combinations. The sweeping mixed borders and shrubs have spectacular colour throughout the season, particularly in late summer and early autumn. The unusual black, white and red border is very popular with visitors.
