Fern Lodge - Open Garden for NGS
Organic plantsperson's garden wrapped around C19 cottage. Hedges, dead hedges, hornbeam obelisks, rose and pear archways, trees and many perennial plants create a series of intimate spaces to pause and relax. Central water feature, small wildflower areas and alpine troughs. Cornus Venus and Kousa in Spring. Small Katsura, large fig, Quince, Liquid Amber and other native trees.
