Allerton & Grassendale Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Four very distinctive Liverpool gardens, one full of rare exotics, cacti, bamboo and tropical plants with a pond and stream running through. A small tree fringed town garden with a wildlife pond and a fish pond, borders packed full of wildflowers and perennials in shades of blues and pinks all grown in home-made compost. Joining them is a terraced town garden with outdoor rooms for socialising and relaxing, containing of an ever changing, orchestrated, planting pallet. Finally, a community space that has been transformed from a concrete wasteland into a vibrant community gardening space will be opening on both dates.
