Cragwood Country House Hotel - Open Garden for NGS
The gardens at Cragwood Country House are an integral part of the property's rich history and charm. The gardens were originally designed in the late C19 by the renowned landscape architect Thomas Hayton Mawson, who was known for his work in the Lake District and other parts of England. Mawson created a beautiful formal garden with carefully manicured lawns, elegant flower beds, and striking topiary, as well as a peaceful woodland walk and a charming rock garden. Over the years, the gardens have been carefully maintained and developed, with new features and plantings added to enhance their beauty and appeal. Today, the gardens at Cragwood are a highlight of any visit to the property, offering a tranquil and picturesque setting in which to relax and explore.
