7 acre garden overlooking Windermere which has undergone extensive redevelopment since 2018. Formal gardens designed by Mawson and Avray Tipping inc sunken borders, rose garden and croquet lawn. Newly planted woodland walk, bog garden and renovated Yew maze. Naturalistic planting, areas left for wildlife and many fine trees. New kitchen garden built 2022 and original Messenger glasshouse.
