Fallowfield & Ladybarn Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Fallowfield and Ladybarn suburbs grew rapidly from the mid C19. The oldest house on the trail belongs to a coach house built in 1863 and evokes an era when the area was still semi rural, the newest is a smart modern town house built for a bustling suburb. Wending your way round you will discover many sources of inspiration; an established walled garden, wildlife ponds, pergolas and gazebos, shade loving nature areas, stunning mixed and herbaceous borders and some wonderfully creative outdoor entertaining spaces where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. In addition to 2 new gardens, there is also a community garden with edibles, ornamentals and a wildflower meadow area.
