New College, The Warden's Garden - Open Garden for NGS
This special event takes place in the Wardens private garden which isn't open to members of the public; It is an Oxford secret. The event will begin with Tea in the Warden's garden followed by a short lecture on New College. After this, visitors are given a private tour of the College and garden from The Warden, Miles Young. The College gardens, which have been developed and curated for by a distinguished series of Garden Fellows over the generations, most recently by Robin Lane-Fox. A highlight of the garden is the long herbaceous border, set against the medieval City wall.
